Your wallet

Fees and safety

What network fees cost, why you keep a little SUI, and how to keep your wallet and your money safe.

Network fees

Every payment on NETSTREAM — a gift, the View Pass, a subscription, a send — is a transaction on the Sui network, and each one pays a small network fee in SUI. It is about $0.01, and it goes to the Sui network, not to NETSTREAM.

So keep a little SUI next to your USDC: 0.1 SUI is plenty. With no SUI at all, payments and sends can't go through — a send then says "Transfer failed — check your balance." You can receive SUI from another wallet or buy some.

When you send SUI itself, the wallet keeps about 0.01 SUI back for the fee.

NETSTREAM charges no cash-out fee. The card and bank providers set their own fees and show them in their checkout.

On Sui, your money can be kept as several separate coins or as one balance on your address. Your NETSTREAM wallet adds it all up, and every payment can use all of it. You don't need to do anything.

Your wallet is yours

Payments go straight between wallets on the Sui blockchain. NETSTREAM keeps no balance for you and never stores your keys. That also means nobody — NETSTREAM included — can undo a send or get back coins sent to a wrong address or network.

What NETSTREAM never asks for

  • Your recovery phrase (the secret words that restore a wallet) or your private key.
  • Your Google password. With Google sign-in, you type it only on Google's own page.
  • Coins sent to anyone to "unlock", "verify" or "fix" your account, or to collect a prize.

Anyone who asks for these — in chat, in a message, or on another site — is trying to steal from you. Signing in with a wallet asks you to sign a free message, which moves no money.

Never type your recovery phrase into a website or send it to anyone. Whoever has it controls your wallet and everything in it.

Good habits

  • Copy and paste addresses instead of typing them, and check the first and last few characters before you send.
  • Sending a large amount to a new address? Send a small amount first.
  • If your wallet asks you to approve something you didn't start, decline.
  • Signed in with Google? Your wallet is made from that Google account, so protect it well.
  • On a shared device, tap Logout & Disconnect at the bottom of the account menu when you finish.
