Levels and badges

How you earn XP, the 66 levels and 11 tiers with their medals, where your level shows, and the entrance banner for high levels.

Every member has a level, from 1 to 66. It grows with the gifts you send and receive, and shows as a small medal next to your name.

How you earn XP

  • Send a gift — 1 XP for every $1 you gift.
  • Receive a gift — 1 XP for every $1 you're gifted.

Only gifts count: watching, subscribing and pay-per-view don't add XP. Level 2 takes 100 XP, and each level after that takes more XP than the one before.

66 levels in 11 tiers

Every six levels make a tier. Each level has its own medal, in its tier's colours.

Where your level shows

  • Next to your name in the live chat, and in the chat under a replay.
  • With your gifts, when they play on a stream.
  • In the account menu, with a bar of your progress. Tap it to open Rewards.
  • On Your profile.
  • For creators: on the channel page and next to their name on the watch page.

Follow your progress

Open Rewards and choose the Rewards tab. Your level shows your tier and level, the XP you still need for the next level, and the next tier. Tiers shows the whole ladder, with You on your place, and How to earn XP repeats the rules.

Level up

When you reach a new level, a Level up card says You reached level and your new level — with New tier when you move up a tier. The stream's chat shows it too.

Entrance banners

From the Gold tier (level 19) up, a banner announces you when you join a live stream. Viewers see it over the player, the creator sees it in the studio, and the chat writes that you joined the live. It shows at most once per stream every 10 minutes, and it's never part of the broadcast or the replay.
