Where the money goes, who holds it, and what we keep
Every payment on NETSTREAM is split by a contract on the Sui blockchain, in the same transaction the viewer pays. Here is each split, what can and can't change, and what happens to your data.
Checked against the contracts and the app on 5 October 2026
Every payment, split
All amounts are in USDC. The creator's share is never held by NETSTREAM: the contract sends it to their own wallet in the same transaction.
| Payment | Creator, seller or viewer | NETSTREAM | Referrers and holder pools |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gifts, subscriptions, pay-per-view | 80% to the creator | 16% | 4% — split below |
| Silver or Gold NFT ($500 / $1,500) | — | 35% | 50% to five levels of referrers · 10% Gold pool · 5% Silver pool |
| Watch-to-Earn reward | 100% to the viewer | — | — |
| View Pass ($1 for 24 hours) | — | 100% | — |
| Founder NFT resale | 87% to the seller | 13% | — |
An empty referral level's share goes to the NETSTREAM treasury; if the creator isn't in the referral system, the whole 4% does. NETSTREAM charges nothing to cash out — the card and bank providers set their own fees. Network fees are paid in SUI to the Sui network.
The 4%, in detail
On gifts, subscriptions and pay-per-view, the 4% follows the creator who receives the money — the people who invited that creator — not the person paying.
| Who | Share of the 4% | Of the whole payment | On a $10 gift |
|---|---|---|---|
| The creator's referrer, level 1 | 25% | 1.0% | $0.10 |
| Level 2 | 10% | 0.4% | $0.04 |
| Level 3 | 7.5% | 0.3% | $0.03 |
| Level 4 | 5% | 0.2% | $0.02 |
| Level 5 | 2.5% | 0.1% | $0.01 |
| Gold holders' pool | 10% | 0.4% | $0.04 |
| Silver holders' pool | 5% | 0.2% | $0.02 |
| NETSTREAM (treasury, team, operations) | 35% | 1.4% | $0.14 |
A $10 gift end to end: $8.00 to the creator, $1.60 to NETSTREAM operations, $0.40 split as above. Holders claim their pool's equal shares each month on the Rewards page.
What's fixed, and what can change
The contracts are public on Sui. Every change an admin makes is a public transaction too.
Fixed in the contracts
- The 80 / 16 / 4 split of gifts, subscriptions and pay-per-view.
- The creator's 80% goes to their own wallet in the same transaction — no one can hold it back.
- Inside the referral split and on NFT sales: 10% Gold pool, 5% Silver pool, 35% NETSTREAM.
What the NETSTREAM admin can change
- Which wallets NETSTREAM's own shares are paid to.
- The rate of each referral level — never more than 50% in total.
- Pausing the referral system.
- The resale fee on Founder NFTs (13% today) — never above 20%.
Who holds the money
Your wallet, your keys
Sign in with Google and a wallet is made that only you control (zkLogin, by Mysten Labs' Enoki). Slush and other Sui wallets are your own. NETSTREAM never stores your keys.
Two exceptions, stated plainly
Watch-to-Earn reward pools sit in a wallet NETSTREAM's server manages, so it can pay viewers. A quick-gift balance sits in a contract that only you can withdraw from; its device key stays in your browser and can't be copied out.
On-chain means public
Gifts, payments, NFT purchases and referral links are recorded on the Sui blockchain, which anyone can read. A wallet address isn't a name, but the record is permanent.
Safety and moderation
The rules
Taking part is for adults (18+). Sexual, nude or sexually suggestive content is never allowed, not even on streams marked 18+. The full rules are in the User Agreement.
Creators run their chat
Delete messages, time people out (1 minute to 24 hours), ban, appoint moderators, slow mode up to 2 minutes, up to 200 blocked words, followers- or subscribers-only chat. Every action is written to a moderation log.
Reports and appeals
Five reasons to choose from; we aim to review every report within 48 hours, and a person always decides — nothing is switched off by reports alone. A creator sees any decision in their Dashboard and can appeal it; a person reviews the appeal.
Keeping banned accounts out
At sign-in we store a one-way hash of a random device ID and of your network block — never the raw values — for 90 days. It only flags a banned account coming back for a person to review; nothing is blocked automatically.
Your data
Our Privacy Policy says it in full. Two lines from it: “We do not sell your personal data.” “We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.”
What we keep
- Your wallet address and the profile you fill in.
- Follows, direct messages, reports and moderation decisions.
- Replays for 30 days; clips until you delete them.
- Your identity check's result and dates — the documents stay with Sumsub, who run the check.
What we don't keep
- Live chat — it disappears when the stream ends.
- Your wallet keys.
- Raw IP addresses or device IDs for abuse protection — only one-way hashes.

Security
Signing in
You prove the wallet is yours by signing a free message that expires after 5 minutes. Your session then lasts 7 days in a cookie scripts can't read.
Payments are checked on-chain
Gifts, purchases and NFT ownership are confirmed on the Sui blockchain by our server before anything is unlocked or counted.
