Answers, in plain words

How watching, paying, earning and going live work on NETSTREAM — for viewers and creators.

Getting started

What is NETSTREAM?

A live-streaming app where creators are paid in USDC — a digital dollar — on the Sui network. Gifts, subscriptions and pay-per-view go straight to the creator's own wallet, in the same moment the viewer pays.

Can I watch without an account?

You need to sign in to watch — free streams too; signing in is free. Each free stream then plays 5 minutes for you; after that a View Pass keeps every free live stream and replay playing for 24 hours (see below). NFT holders, and a creator's subscribers on that creator's streams, never need one, and battles are always free to watch.

Paid streams (pay-per-view, subscribers-only or NFT holders only) need you to sign in, pass a one-time identity check (KYC) and unlock them.

How do I sign in?

Choose Sign in with Google — a wallet is made for you (zkLogin, by Mysten Labs' Enoki) — or connect a Sui wallet such as Slush.

On a phone, Slush opens in its own app: check that the 4-digit code is the same on both screens, approve, and come back.

To prove the wallet is yours you sign a free message (no payment). The sign-in lasts 7 days.

Is there an age limit?

Taking part is for adults (18+). Just browsing lets you look around first: 18+ streams stay hidden, and you confirm your age before you sign in, chat, send gifts, buy or go live. Your confirmation is remembered for a year.

Who holds my money?

You do. Payments go straight between wallets on the Sui blockchain — NETSTREAM keeps no balance for you, and nothing waits for a payout date.

Two things work differently: a creator's Watch-to-Earn reward pool is held in a wallet NETSTREAM manages to pay viewers, and a quick-gift balance sits in a contract that only you can take money back from.

Money and gifts

Which currency does NETSTREAM use?

USDC on Sui, shown as dollars everywhere. Every transaction also needs a tiny amount of SUI for the network fee — that goes to the Sui network, not to NETSTREAM.

How do I add money or cash out?

Open the account menu → Add money. Pay by card (Alchemy Pay) or by bank (Onramp.money, which can also swap). The money goes straight to your wallet.

NETSTREAM charges no cash-out fee. The card and bank providers set their own fees and show them in their checkout.

How do gifts work?

There are 57 gifts: 22 from Spark ($0.50) to Hawk ($13,000), each in a Classic and a Neon look, and 35 Small gifts from $0.05 to $5. A gift under $10 shows as a card in the middle of the video, moving, with its own sound; a gift of $10 or more plays a full-screen animation.

On a live event — a match or a show — nothing covers the picture: every gift appears in a strip low in the video, and the bigger the gift, the longer it stays (from 3 seconds to half an hour). A gift from an NFT holder carries their name, their level badge and a link to their channel. Gifts make no sound on a live event.

The creator receives 80% instantly in their own wallet. Where the other 20% goes is on the trust page.

Every $1 you send gives you 1 XP towards the 66 levels, and every $1 a creator receives does the same for them.

What are quick gifts?

Where they're switched on, quick gifts let you send without approving each gift in your wallet: you put money in a gift balance and set your limits (by default $20 per gift and $100 per day). This device gets its own key for a set time. You can take the balance back at any time.

How do subscriptions and pay-per-view work?

A subscription is paid once for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months — it does not renew by itself. Pay-per-view is a one-time price for one stream. The creator gets 80% of both, straight away.

A creator can offer up to three subscription tiers. A higher tier includes everything in the lower ones, and some streams are only for a tier and up. You can upgrade at any time: you pay the difference for the days you have left and keep your end date. Subscribers get a badge in that creator's chat.

What is the View Pass?

After the 5-minute preview of a free stream, a View Pass ($1) opens every free live stream and replay for 24 hours. It needs a signed-in wallet, and no identity check. The pass is NETSTREAM's income: none of it goes to the creator. NFT holders, and a creator's subscribers on that creator's streams, don't need it.

How does Watch-to-Earn work?

Some creators put a reward pool on their stream. Watch for about 5 minutes and claim your reward — once per stream, on one stream at a time. Claiming needs an approved identity check (KYC). You receive the whole reward the creator set; creators can't claim on their own stream. What viewers don't claim goes back to the creator a week after the stream.

How do referral earnings work?

Share your link from Rewards. When people you invited — and the people they invite, up to 5 levels — buy a NETSTREAM NFT, you earn 25%, 10%, 7.5%, 5% or 2.5% of the price, depending on the level.

On gifts, subscriptions and pay-per-view, up to 2% of the amount goes to the people who invited the creator who receives the money (the same 5 levels). It follows the creator, not the person paying.

What do Silver and Gold NFT holders get?

Two reward pools are filled from every NFT sale (10% to Gold holders, 5% to Silver) and from a small share of gifts, subscriptions and pay-per-view. Each month holders claim their equal share in Rewards. NETSTREAM NFTs can't be sold or transferred — only the earlier presale (Founder) NFTs can be resold on the marketplace.

Going live

What do I need to go live?

A NETSTREAM NFT — Silver ($500) or Gold ($1,500), or a sponsorship NFT. You get it once, from the membership page. No identity check is needed to stream.

Browser studio or OBS?

The browser studio needs no software: camera, screen sharing, scenes, overlays and face effects (Looks). Before you start, three steps check your title, your camera and microphone, and your connection.

OBS: on Go Live turn on Broadcast with OBS instead, then in OBS → Settings → Stream choose Custom and paste the Server and Stream key shown there. Recommended: CBR, keyframe interval 1 s, up to 720p at 2,500 kbps. A key works for 12 hours.

What quality does my stream go out at?

The browser studio sends 720p, or 1080p where it's switched on, and steps down by itself when the connection struggles. For OBS we recommend up to 720p at 2,500 kbps.

Can I bring guests on, or battle another creator?

Up to 3 viewers can join you on stage; they have 30 seconds to accept. A battle is between two, three or four live creators, lasts 3, 5 or 10 minutes, and the creator who receives the most gift value wins. Leaving a running battle counts as a loss. A live event is the camera or a shared screen only, with the microphone off until you switch it on: no guests, battles, Looks, overlays or crowd sounds during it.

Can I schedule a stream?

Yes — pick a date and time on Go Live. Viewers can ask for a reminder, and when you go live your followers and NFT holders get a notification.

What isn't allowed?

Sexual, nude or sexually suggestive content is never allowed — not even on streams marked 18+. Mark a stream 18+ for strong language or mature themes; you can switch it even while live. The full rules are in the User Agreement.

How long are replays and clips kept?

Replays of streams made on our servers are kept for 30 days. Clips (5–60 seconds, made by the creator from their own stream) are kept until you delete them.

Safety and your account

How do I moderate my chat?

In your live chat: delete a message, time someone out (1 minute to 24 hours), ban or unban, appoint moderators, turn on slow mode, block words, or limit chat to followers or subscribers. Every action is logged.

How do I report something?

Use Report on a creator's channel page and choose a reason (spam, harassment, inappropriate, copyright or other). We aim to review every report within 48 hours. Nothing is switched off automatically by a report alone.

My stream was taken down. Can I appeal?

Yes. You'll see the decision in your Dashboard under Chat & safety, with a button to appeal. A person reviews the appeal and upholds or overturns the decision.

Is my chat stored?

Live chat isn't stored — messages disappear when the stream ends. Direct messages are stored so you can read them later. More on what we keep is on the trust page and in the Privacy Policy.
